The badminton section of the Hutt Valley Indoor. Sports Club played their return match against Eastbourne in the Horticultural Society's Hall, -the previous match having been won by Eastbourne —8 games to 2. In the return match the Hutt. Valley _ won by 10 games to 2. ; ■'■' £
Players were as follows:—Eastbourne: Ladies, Misses Hull, Wilcox, Hoare, and Hill; men, Messrs. Fagan, Hull, Farney, and Wilcox. Hutt: Ladies, Misses Grey, Knight, Gilleri, and Eason; men, Messrs. B. Judd, E. Swanson, B. Pilcher, D. MacLauchlari. Moera L.O.M. ...... . ''.; The Moera branch of. the Mothers' League, held a well,attended meeting on Tuesday afternoon. The president, Mrs. F. S. McLean, was in the chair, and after the opening hymn the members stood for a few moments in silence in memory of the late Mrs. Falkner. The choir- then sang two. numbers, "Oh, Who Will O'er"; the. Downs -with. Me" and "Just A'wearying for Yoa" ; .. • V
