A bogey match was played on the Hutt links yesterday morning, and resulted in a tie between. D. Swift (8) and A. E. Park (8), who both finished 1 up. Park won on a count back. E. Daniells (17), was 2 down; G. C. TayJor (4), 3 down; D. F. Porter (8), and I. McLean (15), 4 down; C. A. Burgess (8), 5 down.
In the afternoon a Stableford fourball best-ball was played, and was won by I. A. Ewen (1) and F. N. Gibbons (10), with 38, 6—44; R. G. Henry (14) and J. Jackson (11) came next with 25, 13—28. W. G. Home (scr) and W. S. T. Till (10) scored 33, 5—38; A. G. McDonald (17) and M. Andrews (3), 28, 10—38; D. L. Harrower (11) and K. W.
Wilkinson (13), 26, 12—38; D. F. Porter (8) and P. Ellerm (9), 28, 9—37; H. Shewan (12) and N. W. Porter (10), 26, 11—37; A. M. Cousins (8) and G. Rich (8), 29, 8—37; A. E. Park (7) and A. J. Park (15), 25, 11—36; R. L. Rose (8) and E. Daniells (17), 23, 13—36.
