CLENSIDE CLUB
It was decided unanimously at a well-attended meeting held in the Glenside golf clubhouse to form a new club, to be called the Glenside Golf Club. ' . ' . , , The club is fortunate in being able to start with no burdensome liabilities, znd judging from the enthusiasm.shown by those present the future success of the club seems assured. o Officers for the season 1937-38 were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. P. L. Tullock; president, Mr. M. F. Steele; club captain, Mr. J. H. Thompson; hon. secretary-treasurer, Mr. G. D. CaWwell; hon.- assistant secretary, Mr. J Favell; committee, Messrs; F. C. Barlow, E. Kelvin Green, F. E. Goddard, and McLeod, Mesdames M. F. Steele, H.^R. MacLachlan, and Haselden, and Miss J. Bordman. - . , . It was decided to extend a cordial invitation to those desirous of joining a Club to become members. ■
