CORONATION MEDALS
Coronation medals were presented to each of the: ill children attending the Silverstreamv School at a special sports and presentation day -at- the school yesterday.' The function was arranged by the combined activities of .the district. and the presentations were made by Councillor J.S. Baskett, who said that the Silverstream people had made donations towards the cost of the medals and also the prizes for the sports. ■ .. ,'.;■-.
The headmaster '(Mr. C. Eves) addressed the children on the' significance of Coronation Day. :
