GARBO IN "CAMILLE."
Majestic Theatre Tomorrow.
The exciting romantic combination of Greta Garbo with Robert Taylor under the direction of the brilliant George Cukor, who filmed the successful "Romeo and Juliet," makes the distinguished new Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer picture, "Camille," coming to the Majestic Theatre tomorrow, one of the most compelling attractions the screen has ever offered.. Never has there been so thrilling a love team as that revealed in "Camille" through the unforgettably poignant portrayal of the incomparable Miss Garbo and the virile and romantic performance of Taylor, who in this picture more than satisfies the expectations of the millions who have proclaimed- him the screen's most fascinating male actor. The Dumas tale of the Parisian beauty who gives up' wealth and social position for the love of the one man who has ever meant anything to her is too well known to repeat. Sufficient to say that it gives the magnificent Miss Garbo the greatest opportunity she has ever had to reveal her brilliant talents. She dances, sings, and even plays the piano! The love story of the "Lady of the Camellias" and Armand is, of course, primarily Garbo's and Taylor's. Not to be overlooked, however, is the excellent supporting work of such players as Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, Jessie Ralph, Henry Daniell, Lenore Ulric, and Laura Hope Crews.
