YOUNG MAN KILLED
MOTOR-CAR OVERTURNS
(By Tclesrraph-Pr<. S 9 Association.) WAIPUKURAU; This Day. Edwin Thomas Whelch,' aged 19, son >i Mr and Mrs. T. E. Whelch, of Lake Station, Hatuma, was killed instantly at 9 o'clock last evening when the car he was driving struck a bank and overturned on the Ngahape Road. A passenger, Mrs. M. H. Dalby, of Porangahau, escaped with minor injuries and shock. ■ .
