COX TO MEET FORSGREN.

One of the most colourful wrestlers ever brought to the Dominion is "King Kong" Cox, who is to make his first Wellington appearance against Jack Forsgren at the Town Hall on Monday night. That Cox could be brought out here was due to the strength of the Dominion "Wrestling Union, which was able to make him an offer which he accepted in the face of the prospects of some highly profitable.engagements in the States, where he is an unusually big drawing card. Known as the "Jack Dempsey of Wrestling," Cox has all the fire and colour of the famous "Manassa Mauler" and his record includes victories over many of the world's best wrestlers. Cox is noted for his unruly methods and consequently is the type of wrestler who is bound to appeal to New Zealand audiences. Also, he will be admirably matched against Jack Forsgren, who is seen at his best when matters become heated. Forsgren has been showing excellent form in his matches this season and can take the ring against Cox with plenty of confidence, despite thu fact that the latter immediately demonstrated his quality by beating John Spellman in his first match at Auckland. There will be amateur preliminaries from 8 o'clock.

Ah1 mail . which left Auckland .on May 20 arrived in London on June 6.
