GOOD COMPETITION
(By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, June 8. At the first of the new series of wool sales today 12,828 bales were offered, 10,622 being sold at auction; also 942 bales sold privately. There was good competition from practically all sections, with the market firm for all descriptions. A line of greasy merino sold to 23£ d.
