"USE TORPEDOES"
Signor Farinacci, former secretary of the Fascist Party,. recently devoted a short article to the British Government in his newspaper, "Regime Fascista." After observing that General Franco had stopped three English ships loaded with war materials on their way to Bilbao, he wrote: "Let there, be no hesitation in launching torpedoes and sinking these enemy ships." He also, wrote: "The British Cabinet held an emergency meeting to warn all who dared to impose limitations upon the British flag. But it was forced to climb down and. come to the. conclusion that England can no longer defend her ships in Spanish territorial waters. England, with Russia and France, is racing to supply Caballero. For a long time these 'gentlemen' have been playing the most vulgar.game. Otherwise one could not understand Valencia's offer to Morocco. . Let General Franco take note against the day when London again seeks to do business with Salamanca. They must not make any distinction between the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Leader o£ the Labour Party, or Mi\ .Eden. Thejr are all the same."- . " '. ■'
rejected a lucrative, offer to ride in India and the Continent.
