FIRE IN COUNCIL GARAGE

PALMERSTON N., This Day.

Damage believed to' be between £1500 and £2000 was caused to trucks and electrical equipment owned by the City Council by a fire which broke out in a small motor truck garaged at the rear of the council offices last night. The flames were soon under control, but owing to the costly nature of the material involved the loss was heavy.
