Another enjoyable evening entertainment was given recently at the jjooms of the British Sailors-Society by Miss Jean Hodgetts and party to a large and enthusiastic audience of seamen and friends, The programme consisted of dances, songs, and elocutionary numbers. Each-item was greeted with applause, the performers having to respond with.numerous encores. At the conclusion of the programme a vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Hoult and carried with acclamation. Sutjper was served, by the members and the evening was. brought.to a-close with the I National Anthem.. ■■■ ■
