■ A flag competition played at. Paremata during the weekend was won by E. ■E. Fisher, and a Stableford bogey competition-went to R. Bradshaw, the ' runner-up being A. H. de Lisle. In the Mahon Cup round Osborne beat Bradshaw 7 and 6, and playing in the Moston Cup round Penberthy beat Agar 3 and/I; Hildreth beat Burd, 2 and 1; Verschaffelt beat Stark, 5 and 4; and Fear beat Bradshaw, 2 up.
