HARRIERS

NEW COURSE SELECTED

The chairman of the Wellington harrier sub-committee, Mr. R. Spence, announces that, arrangements have been made for. a new five-mile. crosscountry course at Lyall Bay.

"Parts of the ground to be used are covered by lupins," said Mr. Spence, "and a trail will have to be cut through these. The harrier clubs have to guarantee the lessees of the properties used that they will keep to the course allotted, and , not wander all over the place. With a view to cutting the lupins and describing the course all harriers are requested to meet, with axes or slashers, tomorrow morning at 10.30 at Scots College. It is essential that all clubs be well represented."
