At the election recently held in connection with the Public Service Appeal Board, the following votes were recorded in favour of candidates nominated as Public Service representatives: — • ' . A. S. Houston ....; 3529 A. E. Reynolds 3234 ■ R. T. Bailey 1106 J. M. O'Reilly .811 A. E. Crimp 540 Informal 38 Messrs. A. S. Houston and A. E. Reynolds are the successful candidates for the two vacancies. Mr. Houston is a member of the Agriculture Department, and Mr. Reynolds is attached to the Justice Department. Both candidates are located at Wellington.
