INVERCARGILL TOTAL

(By Telegraph—Press Associatior.)

INVERCARGILL, June 7. A statement made by the Mayor of Dunedin that the £7748 collected for the King George V National Memorial Fund included £5662 in Dunedin and £2086 in the rest of Otago and Southland does not set out the position correctly as far as Invercargill is concerned, as over £2000 had up to last week been collected in the city alone. Further contributions today brought the Invercargill total to over £2100.
