M.P. INJURED

FALL AT TAKAPUNA (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 7. A painful accident which has temporarily deprived him of the use of his right arm was suffered by Mr. W. J. Lyon, M.P. for Waitemata, as the result of a fall at the returned soldiers' gathering at Takapuna on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Lyon fractured a bone in his arm and an X-ray examination revealed that the humerus had been split for an inch or more. Mr. Lyon left by the Limited express for Wellington tonight.
