Yugoslavia v. South Africa, at Zagreb.—N. G. Farquharson and V. G. Kirby (South Africa) beat D. Mitic and F. Kukuljejvic (Yugoslavia), 6-2. 6-3, 6-3.
Belgium v. Sweden, at Brussels.—A. de Lacroix and L. de Borman (Belgium) beat K. Schroeder and C. Oestburg (Sweden), 6-0, 6-4, 6-4. K. Schroeder (Sweden) beat A. de Lacroix (Belgium), 6-3, 6-3, 6-0; C. Naeyert (Belgium), beat Mortensen (Sweden), 6-1, 6-2, 6-1. Belgium won by three matches to two.
Germany v. Italy, at Milan.—G. de Stelani (Italy) beat H. Henkel (Germany), 6-3, 6-3, 5-7, 6-2. G. yon Cramm (Germany) beat V. Canepele, 6-1, 6-4, 1-6. 6-4.
