DUKE'S WEDDING
NO EXHIBITION IN BRITAIN
(Received June 7, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, June 6. News reel pictures taken in connection with the Duke of Windsor's wedding will be shown on the Continent and in America, but the film industry has decided to ban the pictures in Britain. It is stated that the decision was voluntary and that it was arrived at in conformity with what is understood to be the Whitehall policy of not affording undue publicity to the wedding. ;
The film is reported to contain many interesting shots of the couple before and after the ceremony, fcut no interior picture of either the civil or the religious ceremony.
The Duke and Duchess arrived at the Castle at Wasserleonburg at 12.15 a.m. yesterday.
