RIDGE RECAPTURED
ITALIAN PLANE BROUGHT DOWN
(Received June 7, 10 a.m.) MADRID, June 6. After a violent offensive the rebels recaptured the Lemona Ridge. A Fiat aeroplane which was brought down was of the latest Italian type and had machine-guns dated July, 1935, and the stamp of the Ministry of War. The pilot's body bore a letter congratulating him on his prowess for the Duce and glorious Italy.
