PIGEON SHOWS

The Wellington Homing-Pigeon Society continued its series of weekly shows on Saturday night in the clubroom at Newton Avenue. There was a large attendance. The class was lotold cocks and the large entry of 44. pigeons was judged by Mr. F. Couper, whose task was not easy. The followin" were the results:—A. Reader. 1 and special- G. Woodward and Son, Fetone, 2- J Bolton and Son. Petone, 3; A. Wilton, v.h.c; N. Boyd and Son. h.c; A. Molton and Son, c. Next Saturday night the show will be "for old heni and it will be judged by Mr. W. Bailey.
