MORNINGTON CLUB

In an eighteen-holes bogey competition for the Hardwicke and Evans trophies played on Sunday at Mornmgton easily the largest muster of members this season took part. In the A division M. J. McEHigott and T. O'Kelly, each 1 up, tied for the Hardwicke trophy and will play off at a later date. In the B division C. Armstrong, 1-down, won the Evans trophy. Other cards were:—A. Charles and D. Hartwell, all a-Juare; F. W. Andrews, 1 down; H. B. Craighead, N. Sanford. and F. A. Wells, R. T. McElligott, and H. R. Baigent, 2 down.

A. Thomson, H. Wilson, and G. MacDonald, with 32 points each, tied for the afternoon stableford, and in the draw for places Thomson won, Wilson being second and Mac Donald third. Other cards were: A. V. O'Brien and j- B. Stratmore. each 31 points, A. Charles and L. Cocker each 30 points. Next weekend a mixed Canadian foursome stroke competition will be played, the draw being as follows:— Mrs. L. F. Barton and Geo. Estall; Mrs. Simpson and L. F. Barton; Mrs. B. Rough and F. A. Wells: Mrs. Denniston and S. J. Dudson: Mrs. Grove and F. D. Andrews; Mrs. K. Smith and E.
