MANOR PARK LADIES' CLUB
The finals for the Captain's Trophy were played on Sunday morning at Manor Park. In the A division Miss Fairbrother and Miss McColl beat Miss Jones and Miss Russell at the nineteenth, and in the B division Mrs. Barker and Miss Wallis beat Mrs. Jackson and Miss Wilson, 2 up.
In the Yankee fourball competition, Mrs. . Barnard and Miss Barry beat Mrs. Barker and Miss Hogg, 3 and 2; Miss Mulholland and Miss Allen beat Miss King and. Miss Howe, 3 and 2, Miss K. Walker and Miss D. Walker beat Miss Murphy and Mrs Elsmore. 2 up. A morning bogey match was won by Miss Murphy, who finished 2 down. An afternoon bogey was won by Miss Davidson, with 2 down.
On the King's Birthday a Canadian foursome bogey over 28 holes will be played. Players will arrange their own partners and opponents.
