TREASURY BILL RATE HIGHER
. (British Official wireless.) LONDON, June 4. The total amount applied for in tenders for £45,000,000 of Treasury bills was £69,215,000. The average rate per cent, for • bills at three months was 14s .1.023, against 10s 6.99 d a week ago.
The' average'rate for Treasury bills on June 5 last year was 14s 7.12 d per cent, for' an allotment of £50,000,000, compared with 11s 5.54 d per cent, for an allotment of a like amount the previous week.
