LARGELY ATTENDED

DR. ROBERTSON'S FUNERAL

An air of regret at the passing of one who by the kindliness and gentleness of his disposition had endeared himself to all was apparent at the funeral on Saturday of the late Dr. Alexander Robertson, M.D., CM. The funeral was attended by the Acting Prime Minister, Mr. P. Fraser, and by the majority of Wellington meflical practitioners. Among those present were Professor and Mrs. J. Rankine Brown, who were friends of the deceased's father, for 26 years Professor of Medical Science at Glasgow University. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. J. R. Blanchard. Drs. T. Duncan Stout, S. D. Rhind, and T. F. j Corkill represented the medical profession as pallbearers.
