RYDER CUP PLAYERS OUT

LONDON, June 4.

An unprecedented "massacre" of prominent golfers occurred in the £750 tournament at Moortown. The Kyder Cup players Padgham, W. J. Cox, and E. Jarman failed to survive the first round,, in which Mahon (Dublin), and Matthews, last year's winner, also were defeated.

The Ryder Cup representative Alliss was defeated in the second round, after which the only Ryder Cup players surviving were Lacey and-Busson.
