PROFITABLE MEETING
V.M.C.A. LADIES' AUXILIARY
The V.M.C.A. ladies' auxiliary held a very profitable meeting recently when all members brought a gift to help stock on,e of the work stalls at the annual fair in October.
Miss Rennie and Mesdames Boyton and E. O. Blamires were welcomed as new members by; the president, Mrs. L. J. Greenberg. It was stated that a jumble sale had been arranged for early in July, and on July 21 Mrs. O. C. Mazengarb would give an address at a coin afternoon, her subject being "Places' of Worship of the World." At the end of June a "coin and musical evening" would be held in the V.M.C.A. Lounge. Members were appointed as conveners for the various stalls at the annual fair, thus enabling them to make an early start in the organising of their respective stalls.
Mrs. McGregor, accompanied by Miss Keegan, sang two delightful solos, and afternoon tea was served.
