After the flag day appeal on Thursday for the King George V National Memorial Fund the cross, crown, and letters on the lawn in the vicinity of Parliament House had the appearance shown above. This photograph was made possible by the use of the Wellington Fire Board's extension ladder, which is shown in operation on the right, with the "Evening Post" photographer at the top taking the picture shown above. He is more [than fifty feet above the ground.]

"Sport and General" Photo. Herr Hitler takes the salute during the march past of the Tank Corps, part of the great parade of the German military forces held recently in Berlin.

The Waikato Hunt starts out on a run. The Governor-General, Lord Galway, at the head of the riders on the right, is escorted by the acting master, Mr. J. M. Allen. With the hounds are the huntsman, Mr. Ned Brown, and the whip Mr. L. Kyle.
