Talisman Dubbo Gold Mines has advised the' Stock Exchange Assoaation that 45 tons was treated at the Golden Dawri Battery for an approximate realisation of £321. The accounts of Talisman Dubbo for the year ended December 31, 1936. show net profit £5370 against £6539 in .previous year. After, writing off £150 for depreciation and £2500 tor development, £3603 is available, including £883 brought into the accounts. This amount is retained against the cost of the new treatment mill. MARTHA MINE REPORT. The following information has been cabled to London from the Martha mine Waihi:—No. 2 Level—North branch of Martha lode: In Brown north-east cross-cut. Have driven _to west a further 21ft in ore assaying 32s 3d a ton. The lode is about 4ft wide. No. 3 Level—East branch of Edward lode: Driving south. The^next 19ft is ore of good grade, about 3ft wide. No. 0 Level—Giddens south crosscut is stopped at 180 ft, and we have resumed driving west on north branch of Martha lode at 234 ft west of No. 2 shaft cross-cut, in Espir crosscut. No. 11 Level—Royal lode: Driving east. The drive has holed through to former workings at 150 ft. (By Telegraph —IVpbp Association.) GREYMOTJTH, June 4. The Nemona dredge return was 41Joz for 115 hours and 14,700 cubic yards. Worksop Extended obtained 21oz for 132 hours and 12,000 cubic yards. New River Gold Dredging Co.'s official return of gold during the week ended June 3 was 48oz of gold- from 12000 yards treated in 127 hours' .dredging time.
