ABANDONED
AIR RACE ROUND EUROPE
TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
(Received June 4, 1 p.m:)
PARIS, June 3.
It is announced that the air race round Europe has been abandoned owing to technical difficulties. The Aero Club proposes a race from Paris to Damascus and return.
A cable from Paris published on Wednesday states that the abandoned Atlantic air race would be replaced by a race round European capitals in August. It was added that it would probably be restricted to the twentytwo entries for the Atlantic race.
