CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW

Advantage is being taken of the holiday on Wednesday to decide another series of senior Rugby championship fixtures in Wellington. This will be confined to the senior A grade first division, but there will also be seven-a-side tournaments for teams in grades from junior, to fifth. There will be a full series of championship matches next Saturday. The draw for Wednesday is:— Senior A (First Division). Wellington v. Wellington College Old Boys, Athletic Park. Athletic v. Hutt, Hutt. Eastbourne v. Johnsonville, Anderson Park. Poneke v. Petone, Petone. Marist v. University, Kelburn Park. Eastbourne v. Johnsonville and Marist v. University will, if the clubs desire, be played in the morning. Fixtures for next Saturday are:— Senior A (First Division). Athletic v. University, Kelburn. Wellington v. Johnsonville, Johnsonville. Wellington College Old Boys v. Petone, to be arranged. Hutt v. Marist, Hutt. Eastbourne v. Poneke, to be arranged. Senior A (Second Division). Oriental v. Miramar, to be arranged. Athletic v. Petone, to be arranged. St. Pat's Old Boys v. Pirates, to be arranged. Wellington v. Poneke, to be arranged. '
