NEW RADIO EQUIPMENT

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

PALMERSTON N., This Day.

There is considerable activity at Milson Aerodrome in connection with the installation of new radio equipment which it is hoped will be ready for the commencement of.the WellingtonAuckland air service towards the end of the month. The proposal is to have the receiving and transmitting apparatus separately housed and the latter operated by remote control. The 60ft poles are ready for erection as the aerial masts but these will be superseded later by steel masts of the lattice type 75ft high. The radio equipment is expected to. arrive next week.
