BUSINESS AND PLEASURE
■■ ■■ ■■ ■■
That business and pleasure combine well under suitable conditions, was proved on Tuesday evening when the annual general meeting of the Scots College Parents' Association was held at the Pxoyal Oak Hotel. Of those invited over 90 parents and sympathisers attended. The lounge was gay with bowls of Iceland poppies arranged against a dark background, the central motif being provided by the College badge. After the presidential address had been given.the officers for the ensuing year were elected. Musical and elocutionary items were provided by Mesdames' Anderson, Duncan, and Fellowes, and were thoroughly enjoyed by the large and appreciative gathering. A buffet supper was dispensed, providing an opportunity for parents and visitors to mingle and meet each other. .•-.'•'
