The Australian women cricketers opened their English-tour with a match against a Kent women's team. Scores are: —Australia, 256 for three wickets, declared (Miss Antonio 52, Miss Peden 46, Miss Pritchard 74, Miss Smith not out 68). Kent, 173 (Miss Archdale 68; Miss Flaherty seven for 33, Miss Smith two for 34). Australia won by 83 runs.
