AVOIDING OUTRAGES TO

CONTROL SHIPS

LISBON, June 2.

■■ The Government has sent a Note to the British Foreign Office and the Nonintervention Committee, pointing out thai; all the areas previously controlled by Italian and German warships are now freely open for the importation of armaments, thus allowing specialfacilities to one.side in Spain.

The Note expresses the opinion that if satisfaction is not'given to Italian and German claims for guarantees against future incidents, ■ outrages against control ships will be repeated.
