I GROWING IMPORTANCE
* Australian shipments of lamb to the ''(United Kingdom for the past six years |have kept round about 8,500,000 carexcept in 1923, when- they |reached 9,290,000. The returns for the ■^calendar year 1937 promise to exceed -the usual 8,500,000, for stock killings Jifor export for the statistical year £1936-37, ending June 30,- show a subjstantial increase over that ended June ■£30, 1936.
