The final round, for -the Thompson Cup, played at the Tui Glen golf finks during-, the :. weekend,-'resulted in a popular .win for- .Diamond.'' ■ A medal round played on Sunday morning was won by Dalgleish with a net score of 66, Diamond being the l.runner-up with a net 67. A-Stable-ford stroke.competition during the afternoon was" won by Dalgleish with 17 points and O'Connell was runner-up with .16 points. Messrs. Judd and Jope qualified for the two vacant places in the Whitehead Clip contest, the first round of which is set down for June 13. i ■ ' Next Sunday a hiddeirhole competition will be held, also the second qualifying round for the Red Top Crystals will be played. The following are the competitors:—Pope, Tilyard, Hanson, O'Connell, Lovett Riddell, Dalgleish, Judd, King, Compton, Ward. Cole, Bloom, Swain, Whitcher, J. B. Young, Morgan, Tonks, Hennesey, Jamieson. R. Pilcher, Peterson, L. Pilcher, Garbett, Elliott, Doran, and Mcßride. ;
