HUTT LICENSING COMMITTEE
The annual sitting' of the Hutt Licensing Committee was held a% Lower Hutt yesterday. Mr. H. P, Lawry, S.M., presided, and otheq members present were Messrs. J. E, August, H. Foley, A. Bowderi, and E, F. Hollands. ' '
A licence was granted to M. E. Ni<M holson for the Family Hotel, Loweo Hutt, and renewals to M. I. Meagher, Belle Vue Hotel, E. Shine. Central Hotel, Lower Hutt. H. Faliey. Empire Hotel, L. G. Fraser, New Central. Pesi tone, D. E. Purcell. Victoria Hotel, T. J. Walsh, Grand National, and a wholesale licence to W. H. Lees. High Street, Lower Hutt.
The licensee o£ ilie Empire Hotel, Petone; promised to have an made* quate water supply remedied and tha licensee of the New Central, PetcC-*» to have certain rcusirs con\-lctcd.
