SHIP'S OFFICER INJURED
• While Mr. H. H. Smith, chief officer of the Port Hunter, berthed at. the Glasgow Wharf, was superintending ( work in the hold of the ship at.about 10.25 a.m. today, a piece; of wood fell from a height of about 40 feet and struck him on the forehead, inflicting a severe cut. He was removed to hospital by the, Free Ambulance. . ' ;
