DECLINE IN NUMBERS'
DOMINION ENTRANTS
AUSTRALIAN SPRING LISTS
■ (By "Rangatira.") The smallest entries during the last decade have been taken at the Wellington Racing Club's office for the big spring handicaps and other events in Australia. In all events there is a considerable dropping on last year's numbers, and for the Warwick Farm, ! It is fairly clear from the lists;'that there is not going to be any heavy Australian campaigning .by Dominion horses in the coming spring. The only stables, likely to send teams across are those of F. W. Davis, J. Fryer,- and ■O. Cox; and possibly two or three horses owned by Mr. J. S. McLeod 1 (president of the Racing Conference) and others will also go.
