The meetings at Geneva last week afforded a fresh opportunity to th« Foreign Ministers .of Great Britain, France, and Belgium to review the state of negotiations for a. new WesV em agreement. As is known, all three Governments attach, the,greatest importance to the bringing of the discussions which have been in train now for more than a year to a successful conclusion and it was agreed to press on with the efforts to this end. Reports which have appeared suggesting that as a result of th/ Geneva talk 3 Mr. Eden had undertakeu'some special responsibility for: this purpose on behalf of other parties concerned ar« understood to be without foundation.-'
