ROYAL COMMISSION

NAPIER, This Day.
A Royal 'Commission has been appointed to inquire into the management and administration of the Napier Hospital. The sitting will open on Monday, June 14;' and is expected to last several days. The personnel is Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., Sir James Elliott, and Miss Cecilia McKenny,- formerly matron of the Wanganui Hospital.
An extensive order of reference provides for an investigation into the admission and treatment of certain patients, with special reference to an outbreak of infectious disease among the infants in the* Shrimpton Ward, matters relating to the general management of the institution, and the question whether any action on the part of anyone connected with the institution has been detrimental to the discipline of the nursing staff.
