The Prague correspondent of the "Daily Herald" says that Herr Hitler has been alarmed by a secret memorandum from German industrial-leaders expressing dissatisfaction with the present conditions and grave fears for the future. The memorandum, which urges a reduction in taxes and a more conciliatory foreign policy, declares: "At least 50 per cent, of Germans are living on money derived directly or indirectly from the Government. Selfsufficiency in regard to foodstuffs has not been achieved.. We consider that the.life of Germany can be restored only by a big foreign loan, possibly from the United States of America."
