PIGEON CLUB SHOW
; The \Vellington Homing Pigeon Society, continued its series of weekly shows in- the, clubroom at Newtown Avenue on"1 Saturday night. There was a'-large attendance. The, class was! for young' Hens and it attracted a splendid entry of 36 pigeons, which were judged by Mr. "W. Abraham, of Petone, whose decisions were well re.ceived. The winners received a special trophy given by the society besides good' prize-money. Results:—Perkins and 01D.ea,,1 and special;. "'erkins and O'Dea,;2; F. Flipp and Son, 3;J. Blair, v.h:c; "Perkins and ODea, h.c; A. Leader,,.a. >Next -Saturday night ,the show will be for old cocks, which will be judged by Mr. J? Bruce. A special trophy, will be provided by the society for 'the winning bird.
