COURAGEOUS LIFE

LATE REV. T. FIELDEN

TAYLOR

Jhe City Council yesterday afternoon expressed its deep regret at the death of the Rev. T. Fielden Taylor and its sympathy with Mrs. Fielden Taylor.

The services of the late Canon Fielden Taylor in the cause of charity were well and widely known, said the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop. He had been brought very closely into touch with him and his work ■■■ during the deepest distress of the depression years, and he knew how much the city owed to his services. "His life was one of devotion to the cause of the unfortunate and an example of outstanding courage in the way in which, he overcame his own grave disabilities," said Mr. Hislop.
