NELSON SERVICE
MATANG! TO WITHDRAW The ,Matangi is to withdraw from I the Nelson service shortly, her place being taken by the; Kaitoa. which will run in conjunction with the Arahura. The Kaitoa will sail on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6.30 pjn., and the Arahura will leave on Tuesdays. Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7.30 p.m. The Arahura will leave Wellington tonight as usual at 7.30 p.m., but the Matangi will leave tomorrow night at 10 p.m., withdrawing from the service on arrival at Nelson. The Arahura will remain in Nelson until Monday night, when she will sail for Wellington. There will be no passenger sailing for Wellington from Nelson on Saturday night. The Kaitoa will commence her running from Wellington on Monday at 6.30 p.m. One first "offender for drunkenness was convicted and discharged and a second offender, George Hunter, a labourer, was fined 10s by Mr. Lcn MeKenzie, J.P., in the Mount Cook Police Court today.
