FIRST FLIGHT
WHITNEY STRAIGHT PLANE 'Carrying a film of the Coronation which arrived from England today,1 the new Miles Whitney Straight aeropfeme left Rongotai on its first flight at 0.15 this morning for New Plymouth. Flight-Lieutenant I. E. Rawnsley, instructor of the Wellington Aero Cltib, was the pilot and Mr. C. W. Roots: a passenger. From New Plymouth the machine will go to Auckland and continue on to Gisborne, Hastings, and back to Wellington.
