HOMES IN ENGLAND

BASQUE CHILDREN

LONDON, May 25.

Homes will have been found within three weeks for all the 4000 Basque children at present encamped at North Stoneham. The Salvation Army at orphanages and elsewhere is taking 1400, and the Roman Catholic authorities at convents and Catholic homes 1200. Other organisations are taking from 50 to 200 each. All the 4000 children are Catholics. Priests will be'enabled to visit them at all times.
