GERMAN GLIDER

A world'altitude record for a glider is claimed by Herr Steirtrich, of Breslau, who reached 17,000. feet.

A Berlin message on May 22 stated that the pilots Steinig- and Wolf glided to a height of 19,686 feet, beating the previous world record by 5577 feet. The above cable apparently relates to a claim for a splo effort.
