CORONATION EFFECT

A new German "peace offensive" is expected in London, according to the "Manchester -Guardian's" diplomatic correspondent, who points out that German comment on the Coronation has been demonstratively cordial, and that the German Press is now almost completely free from its customary Anglophobia, even the demand for colonies being put in the background. The correspondent adds that the Coronation certainly seems to have impressed the German representative, Marshal yon Blomberg, and other German observers, some of whom are interpreting it as a display of British It is beliftved in London that German expressions of respect and friendliness for Britain will increase.
