HUTT VALLEY ESPERANTO CLUB

The weekly meeting of the Hutt Valley Esperanto Club was held on Tuesday evening in the C.W.S. Hall, 262 High Street; Lower Hutt. MissK. Stirling presided. The secretary said that Esperanto not only acted as a stimulus to the learning of other languages, but it also < led .'to a'more' effective study of geography, including an interest, gained through correspondence, in the life; of other countries. After the usual preliminary business a class was formed under the direction of Mr. Henri Thorns, who expressed satisfaction at the progress being made. Supper followed.
